LaWhore Vagistan is your favorite aunty’s favorite aunty. She is also the creator of the TEDx Talk titled "How to be an Aunty,” music videos “Sari” and “There’s a Stranger in my House,” live talk show “AuntieSocial,” and lecture-performance “Lessons in Drag.” Her work has been featured at the Mississauga South Asian Film Festival, Hyderabad Queer Film Festival, and San Francisco 3rd i film festival. She has performed at the Wilbur Theatre and La Mama with Sasha Velour, as well as at the Austin International Drag Festival, Flea Theatre, Asia Society, AS220, Queens Museum, OUTsider multi-arts festival, Jack Theater, Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance, Not Festival, Links Hall, and A.R.T. Oberon.

Nikita Shah (b. Mumbai, India) is a fashion designer, textile artist, and educator best known for her work in Kalamkari. Her brand Untitle, has been featured in Paper Magazine and The Juggernaut . She has presented her scholarship through fashion shows, exhibitions, lectures, workshops, and demonstrations on Kalamkari, Saris, and South Asian textiles in public libraries, museums as well as academic institutions across the United States. She serves as a fellow at NEST, an agency developed to advance the creative artisan economy. She has been awarded the Brooklyn Arts Fund Award in 2024 . This is her debut as a filmmaker.

Kareem Khubchandani is the author of the award-winning books Decolonize Drag and Ishtyle: Accenting Gay Indian Nightlife. He is also co-editor of the Lambda Literary-nominated Queer Nightlife, guest editor of Text and Performance Quarterly’s “Critical Aunty Studies,” and associate editor for GLQ: A Journal of Lesbian and Gay Studies. Kareem is Associate Professor of theater, dance, and performance studies at Tufts University. His next book, Lessons in Drag: A Queer Manual for Academics, Artists, and Aunties is forthcoming in Fall 2025.

Angelo Madsen Minax is a multi-disciplinary artist, filmmaker, and educator. His projects consider how human relationships are woven through personal and collective histories, cultures, and kinships, with specific attention to subcultural experience, phenomenology, and the politics of desire. Madsen's works have shown at Berlinale, Sundance, Toronto International Film Festival, New York Film Festival, Tribeca, De La Warr Pavilion, the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, REDCAT, Museum of Moving Image, Anthology Film Archives, British Film Institute, and dozens of documentary, LGBT, and experimental film festivals around the world.'
