Nikita Shah (b. Mumbai, India) is a fashion designer, textile artist, and educator best known for her work in Kalamkari. Her brand Untitle, has been featured in Paper Magazine and The Juggernaut . She has presented her scholarship through fashion shows, exhibitions, lectures, workshops, and demonstrations on Kalamkari, Saris, and South Asian textiles in public libraries, museums as well as academic institutions across the United States. She serves as a fellow at NEST, an agency developed to advance the creative artisan economy. She has been awarded the Brooklyn Arts Fund Award in 2024 . This is her debut as a filmmaker.

Kareem Khubchandani is the author of the award-winning books Decolonize Drag and Ishtyle: Accenting Gay Indian Nightlife. He is also co-editor of the Lambda Literary-nominated Queer Nightlife, guest editor of Text and Performance Quarterly’s “Critical Aunty Studies,” and associate editor for GLQ: A Journal of Lesbian and Gay Studies. Kareem is Associate Professor of theater, dance, and performance studies at Tufts University.
